A couple of our Florida customers were temporarily displaced by Hurricane Wilma, and we were heartened by the news that they were able to keep their businesses running with the help of DispatchThis.

Even though the power was out at the Big Johnson offices, they could access their data and continue to pour and provide excellent service to their customers! No down time!

The ACPA Fall Board Meeting
 We attended the ACPA Fall Board meeting, held October 27th and 28th in Monterey, CA at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. With pumping companies, manufacturers, and other service providers (including cool software guys) in attendance, this meeting was one of the largest board meetings the ACPA has ever had.
For this year's meeting we were honored by an invitation to give a presentation on Technology and Concrete Pumping. Our short presentation covered new ways to use Nextel/Cellular phones, wireless internet options GPS, and, of course, software. We appreciate the ACPA's commitment to providing opportunities for concrete pumpers to educate themselves not just about safety, but business practices and technology.
Additionally, the ACPA continued to develop their highly successful safety programs, encouraged the use of their new online-certification program for concrete pumpers, and are making positive progress on their efforts to reinstate the fuel-tax exemption for concrete pumps.
As always, we're appreciateve of the services provided by the ACPA, and encourage others in the industry to join and participate!
