Get Into That Holiday Spirit...
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization which builds affordable housing for low-income families. Working with individuals, corporations, churches and others Habitat continues to assist communities in need.
As members of the construction industry, concrete pumpers have an opportunity to help their communities through participation in Habitat. We were very interested to learn that a growing number of Habitat branches have begun building ICF homes, increasing the opportunities for concrete pumping companies to help out.
In addition to contributing to your community and keeping the holiday spirit alive all year round, there may be opportunities for you to grow your business through job-site signage, the local press, and word-of-mouth. How Habitat for Humanity operates varies from local affiliate to local affiliate, so be sure to find your local Habitat branch, and find out how to get involved!
