Giving, even in challenging times
Conco Concrete Pumping donated labor to the McCarthy Building Companies of Newport Beach community service program "Heart Hats".
The project was to build patio and walkways to help Alec (Bunk) Worth who suffered spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis from the shoulders down. Healthcare costs and living expenses for Bunk's lifetime are estimated at ~$2.5 Million, with very little being covered by insurance.
It is gratifying to see that even in these challenging economic times, we can remember to lend a hand to people in need. Conco, you make the industry proud.
You can read more about their efforts and Worth's story here.
A Great Success Story
We are proud to report that DispatchThis customer Brisbane Concrete Pumping of Queensland, AU, was able to save their company within a few weeks of its impending collapse.
By investing in a corporate turnaround firm, Brisbane, Queensland's largest concrete pumping business, was able to save 80 jobs and prevent the write-off of $8 million in debt.
With a little bit of creativity and some outside professional help, Brisbane is able to continue business and are running a more efficient business than ever.
